I am sat here in a huddle, sipping lemsip and wrapped in a Spongebob duvet with a sinking feeling I won't be up to painting in my studio this evening....
So I'll spend the time sharing the latest canvas on my easel. I *was* going to photo this as it progressed but in actual fact I got so carried away with the sensuous colours, the broad brush strokes and Citizen Cope this represents about 10 hours straight painting and I forgot to take pictures. I had such fun!
Its not finished ...yet. Some suggestions for a title would be great. I wanted the picture to capture the essence of masculinity and femininity and how they can be joined seamlessly together....in a non-poncey way of course.
Out with the old, in with the new.

That looks spectacular Sue, the colours and flowing lines are really strong, and I like the symbolism you’re using…perhaps you should call it…”Passion” ? :)
Hmmm - if it's a fusion of male & female then that can only mean 'Trouble'? Or maybe that's my present cynical mood.
i am tempted to call it something really wicked, but will refrain.....just after something that captures the sensuality....
In that case how about 'Langour' - to me it conjours up slow, smooth, sensual lingering. Siesta moments if you will (I love holidays in Spain - and not just because of the size of G&Ts). Thinks - must go and have cold shower.
oooo er...i was thinking about 'lush' but I like your suggestion too. time to dig out the thesaursus ...
Reading a book by John Irving at the mo, Until I find You - about a young lad bought up by his tattooist mother as they travel around Europe trying to find Dad who is drawn on his travels by Europe's great church organs and famous maritime tattooists. One of the tattoo's his Mum keeps doing on sailors is what she calls a "Rose of Jericho" Don't know why I'm telling you this, apart from the name request for your latest painting, this doesn't really apply to that but I'll carry on anyway!! The key to a really successful Rose of Jericho tattoo is that at first glance it appears as a beautiful but apparently ordinary rose, on slighter closer viewing the petals reveal the most intimate feminine detail.........
