This is me, anyone care to guess the year? ;-)
Every christmas, my Dad's workplace (INCO) used to have a kids christmas party when we'd be dropped off, loaded onto a coach to go to the Alexandra Theatre in the centre of Birmingham for a panto, then back to the works canteen for party food and a present from Santa. I remember we also stopped at Quinton on the way home for chips.......happy days....

Ho. Ho. Ho. If only I actually believed the year lol. I loved that dress. It was my favourite green velvet bought from Rackhams in Birmingham (posh in my day) and I insisted on wearing it long after I had outgrown it.
I'll give you a clue about the year..."Two Little Boys" by Rolf Harris was the Christmas number 1 ;-)
Well Rolf was number one in 1969…So you must be wrong about that being the same year…:)x
