The Jewel of the Forest

16 Hours of non-stop painting through the night. This is the finished result 9.30 am this morning. It was safely delivered to the Said Business School Gallery. Now all I can do is wait to see what happens. The opening of the show is Saturday October 20th so I guess I'll know by then. I am now in dire need of some new filberts as I seem to have managed to ruin every one I owned. Oh to have an art supplies sponsor!! :-)

Well, to quote Robin Williams...."You are only given a little spark of madness, you mustn't lose it". :-)

I seem to produce my best work when I'm in a semi-dream state in the small hours. Its totally quiet and dark outside and feels almost magical.

What is not so magical is the utter exhasution that kicks in later the next day. Small price to pay I hope.

Another great painting Sue :) Well worth all the effort of painting through the night…and worth the expense of wearing out all those brushes too :)
